The line 'du bist Deutschland' references a famous 2005 social marketing campaign intended to promote national pride, here subverted to critique blind conformity and social pressure.
The Metaphor of the Run
The recurring theme of 'running for one's life' while going in circles represents the futility of working toward a retirement (Rente) or social position without having a sense of individual purpose.
